Ambasada Lituaniei anunță un apel de propuneri de proiecte/Embassy of Lithuania: Call to submit Project concepts and (or) applications

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Moldova calls to submit concepts and applications for the implementation of the projects of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme in Moldova in 2017.

I. Embassy calls for submission of APPLICATIONS for the implementation of the following project concepts in Moldova:

1. Improvement of social environment for children in educational institutions in Moldova.
2. Promotion of cooperation between academic community of Lithuania and Moldova.
3. Support for Moldova in the area of food safety and control.
4. Support for Moldova in the field of climate change adaptation and mitigation.

II. Embassy calls for submission of CONCEPTS for the implementation of projects to support media freedom and pluralism in Moldova.

Up to 40 thousand EUR will be allocated for all projects in 2017.

Financing will be provided for the projects that are in line with the National Development Cooperation Action Planguidelines, adopted by the Resolution No. 937 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on 21 September 2016. Submitted concepts and (or) applications for the projects shall conform to the EU, Lithuanian and Moldova multilateral and (or) bilateral strategic agreements, and (or) development strategies of Moldova.

An application for a project shall contain at least one partner in Moldova. A partner in Moldova is not obligatory if application for a project is being submitted by a subject of the Republic of Moldova or by an international organization.

Legal entities and natural persons, other organisations and their divisions of Republic of Lithuania and Republic of Moldova are invited to submit signed and scanned project applications (Project application and Project estimate) and (or) concepts for projects (Project concept) in Lithuanian or English together with required and, if available, additional attachments by e-mail amb.md@urm.lt. One person, organization could submit several applications and (or) concepts.

Please note that approved projects shall be implemented and implementation activity and financial reports shall be submitted to the Embassy by December 1, 2017.

Project applications and (or) concepts will be accepted till May 4, 2017.

Information on the submission of concepts and (or) applications for projects, selection procedures, implementation as well as any other project-related information is available in the Description of Procedure for the Implementation of Development Cooperation Activities and Provision of Humanitarian Aid by State and Municipal Institutions and Agencies, approved by Resolution No 129 of the 22 February 2017 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Description of Procedure for the Implementation of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, established by Order No. V-63 of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania on the 21 March 2017.
