On October the 25th, the Procurement Working Group of the RDA South met to approve the additional volumes of the Drafting Services Procurement Contract for the "Cahul - Lebedenco - Pelinei - Găvănoasa - Vulcăneşti (villages) - Alexandru Ioan Cuza pipeline and the local networks of the villages Lebedenco, Hutulu, Ursoaia, Pelinei, Sătuc, Gavănoasa, Vladimirovca and Nicolaevca "project, prior signed with the " Fluxproiect "LLC, the winner of the 17/02 of April 7, 2017 public procurement.

In this connection, an additional agreement on Drafting Services Procurement Contract was signed between RDA South, Cahul District Council and "Fluxproiect" LLC on June 30, 2017.

This project provides water supply of the localities from Cahul district mentioned above, with Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDS) financial support.

The investment measure is according to the Feasibility Study for the water supply services of Cahul District, based on the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of Cahul District, WSS chapter, developed within the project "Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova" (MLPS).

The project "Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova" (MLPS) is implemented by the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment of the Republic of Moldova and financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the European Union, the Government of Romania, the Government of Sweden and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
