An investment of about 12 million MDL from National Fund for Regional Development bring benefits to more than 60 thousand citizens

The specialists of the Project Management Department from the Regional Development Agency (RDA) South, have made a working visit to Cantemir for monitoring the progress within "Thermal rehabilitation of the Cantemir District Hospital" project, funded from National Fund for Regional Development.

The RDA South specialists found that the hot water supply network of the healthcare facility is currently in construction process. Cold water network is also in construction process, as the old one is in deplorable condition and needs to be changed.

The representatives of the RDA South discussed with the manager of the Cantemir District Hospital, projects manager and the technical responsible of the project about the volume and the quality of the executed works, including their compliance with the construction norms and execution documentation.

It worth mentioning that the project "Thermal rehabilitation of the "Cantemir District Hospital" building "is implemented by the RDA South from the National Fund for Regional Development. It aims to increase the degree of comfort of the hospital's surgical block, by improving the energy consumption.

Within this energy efficiency project, roof, façade and ventilation system renovation, carpentry works and solar panels installation were carried out.

The value of the construction and assembly works is 12 million 163 444 MDL. This investment project brings benefits to about 60,000 citizens of Cantemir district, who receive medical assistance and care from District Hospital.
