The Thermal Rehabilitation Works of the Cantemir District Hospital are in Full Swing

On Wednesday, October 11, specialists on Project Management from Regional Development Agency South went to the District Hospital from Cantemir to check the thermal rehabilitation works that had started 3 weeks before.

Nowadays, given the fact that the winter is not far away, the workers of the "Consmodern" LTD perform mainly roofing activities of the public medical-sanitary institution from Cantemir district, capitalize on the financial means that were allocated in the current year from the National Fund for Regional Development. At the same time, in order to gain over time, the contractor executes in advance, on his own, thermal-insulation of the façade of the surgical building of the institution.

Mr Andrei Popușoi, the head of the project management department and Mrs Viorica Cuțitaru specialist in the same department have checked the pace of the work and the volume of the works executed in correspondence with the implementation chart.

The representatives of the RDA South have discussed with the technical manager of the project about the volumes and the quality of the executed works, including their compliance with building regulations and execution documentation. The manager was also warned about the responsibility he carries for the correct verification of the execution of the construction works;  inspection of all aspects of the project in terms of professionalism, quality, compliance with the quality standards and quantitative specifications described in the technical documentation attached to the contract concluded by the beneficiary with the contractor.

In order to get an accurate view of the project's evolution and make sure of an efficient management that lead to the project success, the responsible from the implementation institution asked for the latest project information from Mr Valeriu Gandrabur, the project manager.

The manager has provided some performance indicators, specifying that at the present time, 30% of the works have already been executed. According to him, this project also includes measures of ventilation system renovation, carpentry and solar panels installation.

It worth mentioning that the project "Thermal rehabilitation of the Cantemir District Hospital" is implemented by the Regional Development Agency South, financed from the National Regional Development Fund. It aims to increase the degree of comfort in the surgical building of the hospital by improving thermal energy consumption inside the building.

According to the contract signed by the Regional Development Agency South,  Cantemir District  Municipality and  "Consmodern" LTD , the value of the construction works specified is 12.163 444 MDL. In order to launch the thermal rehabilitation of the Cantemir District Hospital, 5 million MDL were allocated in 2017 from the National Fund for Regional Development.

This investment project aims to bring benefits to those about 63,000 citizens from Cantemir district that get medical assistance and care from the District Hospital.
