On August 9, 2017, a delegation consisting of representatives of JSC "Apă-Canal" Cahul and LPA, had a study visit to Nisporeni city,  within the project "Improvement of Water and Sewerage Services in Cahul District", implemented in the framework of the "Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova" (MLPS) in partnership with the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, RDA South and LPA of Cahul district, with the financial support of German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ)

The project "Modernizing Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova" (MLPS) is implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Government of Romania, the Swedish Government, the European Union and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The purpose of the visit was to present the experience gained by the Nisporeni LPA and Nisporeni JSC "Apa Canal" as part of the implementation of the project "Rehabilitation of the water supply system in Vărzăreşti, Grozeşti and the town of Nisporeni".

The raw water catching station of the Prut River, the drinking water treatment plant in Grozeşti village, the sewage treatment plant, etc. were visited, the water supply system is a newly built one and put into operation in 2016.
