New road to the memorial museum, Alexei Mateevici in the village of Zaim, Causeni

 Tuesday, April 2, in Zaim, Căușeni held the first meeting of the project  ,,Road access the to Alexei Mateevici Museum in the village of Zaim. The meeting was attended by officials that will implement the project. They discussed topics related to the design of the road, preparing land for work and the responsibilities of each part.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the South Regional Development Agency (RDA), Maria Culesov, Project Manager from South RDA, Eugen Lupascu, Mayor of Zaim, news media, general contractor, designer, and technical officer.

The overall objective of the project is to provide real opportunities for entering the South Region in the national and international tourist circuit through the construction of the museum's access road. The cost of the project is 1,985,730 lei. The amount requested from the NFRD is 90.6 percent of the total cost. The implementation period is 12 months. The implementation agency is the South Regional Development Agency.

The new road to the museum will provide access to the Museum by motor vehicles (coaches), this was not available before. The new road will pass near a church built in 1815 and will provide direct access to the memorial house of the great Romanian poet Alexei Mateevici.
