The service provider "Apă-Canal" Cahul prepares to become a regional operator

The service provider "Apă-Canal" Cahul has benefited from substantial investment from Germany. This will provide the opportunity for Cahul to expand their business and to become efficient and profitable. Financial support has been provided through the project "Modernization of local public services in Republic of Moldova", implemented by the International cooperation agency of Germany.

Thus, the company underwent repairs worth 580 thousand lei. At the same time, to optimize the enterprise's operational capabilities, specialized machines were purchased in the amount of over 1.7 million lei for intervention in the event of damage from sewage, etc.

There was  developed a manual by the Visual identity of the company, which contains a package of corporate materials: logo, slogan, letterheads, and business cards, templates for newsletters, reports and contracts.

The Color ,,Apă-Canal" Cahul is green and blue, which corresponds to the philosophy that guides the organization, purity of the water and environmental sanitation. The symbol of the logo is a lily, which symbolizes the water quality and its curative effects.

Corporate colors  of the institution and the logo will make it easy to recognize service uniforms of the 200 employees of the company. On March 1, 2013, they paraded in the square of Cahul and have made an official group photograph. The photo will be placed on a Panel in the Center.

Maria Culeșov, director of Regional Development Agency noted: all additional investments will contribute to improving the quality of services for water supply, both for the city and surrounding towns. I am confident that these investments will be used to the maximum.

"Now employees will have decent conditions of work, which will increase the quality of service and operational efficiency and effectiveness." explains general manager of ,,Apă-Canl" Cahul, Vasile Zagaevschi.

The launching of the event included the website  "Apă-Canal" Cahul, www.apacanalcahul.md, which contains useful information for consumers, reports of water quality, as well as interactive games designed to educate a responsible attitude towards environmental issues.

The project ,,Modernization of local public services in Republic of Moldova", implemented by the Agency for international cooperation (GIZ) is supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation Development (BMZ), the Swedish Agency for International Development and  Cooperation (SIDA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania.
