Water and sanitation for the Cimislia and Ecaterinovca residents

The projects "General Renovation of the Canal System, the Pumping and Purification Stations in the City of Cimislia" and "Construction of Sewers, Pumping Stations and Reconstruction of the Water Supply Systems in the Ecaterinovca village" were implemented in stages, thus the work for the Ecaterinovca community was completed in November 2011. The work for the Cimislia city is still in an implementation period.For the Ecaterinovca community, the project provided the complete construction of the water supply and sanitation system, including 9.5 km of aqueduct, 7.5 km of sewer and two pumping stations. The implementation period lasted four months, from August until November 2011.The total project cost is 11,688,820 lei and were provided by the National Regional Development Fund.

A part of the "General Renovation of the Canal System, the Pumping and Purification Stations in the City of Cimislia" was extended and completed to adddress the needs.Similarly, within the same project, the construction of wastewater treatment plant with the contribution of the Czech Development Agency and the National Ecological Fund has been slated.The implemented in the city of Cimislia project consists of the construction of a sewer artery with a length of 4.7 kilometers from the pumping station to the wastewater treatment plant.
