Construction of the Access Road Dimitrova - Acui in Cantemir District

The project, "Construction of the Access Road Dimitrova - Acui" aims to ensure access for the residents of the Cîietu și Baimaclia communities to the Cantemir district center by building a 4 km road between the Dimitrova and Acui villages.The project envisages upgrading the technical part of the road construction project and the road construction works, as well as raising awareness about the importance of the project and funding and thus, creating Beneficiaries Association.The expectation from the project is for 4 km of gravelroad. A footbridge with a width of 2.5 meters will also be constructed. The number of passengers traveling on the Cîietu-Cantemir route will increase, as well as of those citizens who will travel to Romania. The volume of imported and exported goods at various points will increase. The travel access to the district center will be improved. The average travel time will be reduced.Implementation of the project started in March this year by the Regional Development Agency South.
