Basarabeasca/June 23, 2014/ The meeting of regional development working group regarding "Aspirations of the Republic of Moldova from national to european funds".
Representatives of the Institute for development and social initiatives (IDSI) "VIITORUL", in common with the Slovak Agency for Cooperation and Development (Slovak Aid) and experts from the South Regional Development Agency (South RDA), organized a workshop on regional development. The event was attended by representatives of the Basarabeasca and Cimislia District Councils. The meeting was moderated by Svetlana Rogov, Head of International Relations and Attracting Investment in the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction.
The participants were informed about the project, "National Convention for European Integration" financed by Slovak Aid, from the point of view of donors, partners and methods of work.
Tatiana Aramă, Head of the Strategic Planning and Programming Department in the South RDA had a presentation about national funds and the Slovak expert Rastislav Igliar presented a multiple European funds.
At the end of the meeting, they discussed how to create synergies between national funds, so that they become opportunities for financing projects in the developing regions of the country.
