Construction site assessment of projects in the South Region

Work on the project "Boosting social and economic development in areas of the Lower Dniester River, as well as those of the steppe and encouraging tourism in the border area, by renovating the road L-510 Stefan Voda-Talmaza" were discontinued during the cold season but from 1 April were resumed. The Project management experts from the South Regional Development Agency also paid a visit for the monitoring and assessment of the situation at the construction site. They appreciated the accelerated pace of the work and the quality and execution of works. The first layer of gravel was put down over the distance of 1 km (9 km remaining). The entrepreneur has initiated the preparatory work within Talmaza by picketing route dissolution curbs etc. The terms have been set and the objective is to be completed by September 2014.

During the same visit, the contract was signed by the entrepreneurship for the second stage of the project, aimed at constructing the access road from the village of Talmaza to the village of Cioburciu.

We reiterate, the project "Boosting social and economic development in areas of the Lower Dniester River, as well as those of the steppe and encouraging tourism in the border area, by renovating the road L-510 Stefan Voda-Talmaza" was released on June 24, 2013, for a duration of 16 months. The total cost is 50 280 963 million lei, of which the National Regional Development Fund allocated 41 595 351 million lei.
