Impact assessment of the project "Sports Tourism in promoting the image of the South Region„

On 18 June, a meeting was held to evaluation the project "Sports Tourism in promoting the image of the South region - Căușeni Sports Complex”. The visit was aimed at assessing the impact of the project by evaluators from the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, and specialists from the South RDA. The goal of project impact assessment is to highlight the extent to which the activities of the project comply with the priorities of regional development national strategy and to analyze the objectives and goals of the initial funding.

• In the evaluation process, the Group of evaluators from the MRDC - Ms.Violeta Evtodienco and Ms. Daniela Olaru, interviewed many actors involved in the implementation of the project:   
• Representatives of South RDA elucidated the issues related to the technical and financial difficulties that have been identified, and ways in which they were removed.
• The customer (Căușeni District Council) and project partners (Cimișlia and Ștefan Vodă District Councils) analyzed and identified changes that could promote this project in the community, and the effect it can have on the training for performance athletes in the South.

Finally, the evaluators emphasized aspects of sustainability and administration after the commissioning of the complex.
